Social Outreach in Synthetic Biology
With the consolidation of our academic team throughout the year, September and October are dedicated to returning part of that knowledge to Peruvian society through social outreach activities.
Bringing Experimental Science Closer
Synthetic biology can often seem like unattainable science fiction. Our goal with this social responsibility project is to demonstratively show:
- How biological manipulation can solve environmental problems (bioremediation).
- What ethical principles regulate these activities.
We will partner with selected public schools to hold awareness days, thereby boosting early interest in STEM professions and fulfilling the spirit of a university with national reach.
